  1. u don't have 2 lift weights. just start running everyday. everyday add on a little more running. this will help you get faster

  2. Run for about an hour.. do 50 push ups a day.. shoot 300 stots a day.. and lift for about an hour every other day! PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!

  3. Well as a guy idk what girls do but what i can advise u is to do track and field. It will certainly make u faster and improve ure stamina. Try to do a lot of shooting(duh) and defense.... GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Good question. I would start by running about 2 miles every day. Sprint, to get quick. Keep on your toes. Run long distances for endurance. Do jumping jacks and always be on your feet.

Weight lifting, daily too. If you have a gym it would a lifesaver, but hey, if not that's fine. Start by lifting some heavy objects above your head, like a big dictionary, or some dumbbells.

On the court when you practice, I suggest you work on all positions, but be smart about it. If you're 5'3'', you're not going to be a center. If you're a 6'0'', I doubt you'll be a point guard. If you're taller, work on catching the rebound and passing. Be quick and speedy. If you're shorter, work on a lot of shooting. Take Iverson for example. He's 5'11'', which is small for a player, and one of the best in the NBA. Tall does not mean extra skill. But if height is one of your advantages, appreciate it.

To be an all around player, you gotta be quick, light, good shooter, good passer. You have to be in good condition. On an ending note, let me just warn you--push ups will become your new best friend.

  5. Hi...Sis! We have same situation..

But in my Country, Indonesia, The School started in July..

So.. The try outs in my school at the next month.

As freshman I try to find out how good am i.

I mean, can I be the starting line up, school team, or just scond team.

If I think I enough good (I think), I practice hard, shooting, run, drible, and some other skills.

I am PF, so I train my endurance and speed... more accurate 3pt and lay up.

So.. you have to practice to your pos.

You must keep your top condition until the try outs...

    Good Luck!!
