Question:

How can I get in shape quickly for field hockey tryouts?

Tryouts are in a week, and I've been playing for two years.

I haven't been doing very much exercise this summer, and I really want to make the JV team--I will be a freshmen.

Also, does anyone know how hard tryouts will be or what we do at tryouts?

  1. I would start walking as much as possible. Followed by some cycling start at about 12 mi. Then some Ice skating all of these are endurance building. There are 2 more things that you should not pass up... push ups and pull ups a 10 pull up set would be good and the push ups as followed 2 then rest 4 then rest then 6 then rest then 8 then rest twice a day. once that gets easy go 4 then rest 6 then rest 8 then rest and 10 then rest. I hope this helps
