How can I get ink out of my blouse?

My husband washed my blouse and there was an ink pen in the laundry. To make matters worse, he dried the clothes too; even though he knew the pen had been in the wash. Only one blouse got ink on it. Is there a way to get it out? I heard hair spray will work. Does it? If so, do I just spray it on the blouse and then wash it?

Yes it does work.  Make sure that its the aerosol type, soak the stain well and rub with a cloth.  Hopefully putting the shirt into the dryer did not set the stain.

Mikki:  I have removed ink stain by saturating stain  with liquid hair spray and rubbing the  fabric together, then put blouse under running faucet and rub.  You will need repeat several times, each time stain will get lighter.
