How can I get involved in rowing crew in Saratoga County,NY?

I have never rowed before in my life but I have always wanted to, also, I am a high-schooler.

Saratoga Springs is where states is held every year for rowing, and they have an excellent rowing team.  However I'm pretty sure that it's a scholastic team, which means you can only join if you go to Saratoga High School.  The rule is that you have to row for your school if they have a rowing team.  However if your school doesn't have a team check around your local boathouses, and they will most likely have a rowing team for those who don't have a team at their own high school. if your high school has a team join that. if not go to your local boathouse they should have clubs and teams for your age groups and beginner skill level
