Ok so my hair right now is about just shy of reaching my shoulders. I am African American and my hair type is kind of average in terms of how course it is. I really want to get a cut like what Laurie Ann Gibson has.

Except her hair is shorter in the back and i don't want mine like that. Anyways I know that my hair will need to look fuller in order to get the full effect of the style. So what are some things that I can do to grow my hair and get it much thicker and fuller. Also i heard that you can possibly grow your hair out six inches in a year; is that too far fetched because that would be great if I could do that.

  1. Growing six inches a year is not far-fetched that is the average for all hair types. Although you may not see the growth if your hair is always breaking or you trim it too often. If your hair is thin because of damage you will have to start taking better care of it, if it's not damaged you can try taking Biotin and B-Complex which can help to thicken your hair and even increase growth if taken consistently.
