Question:

How can I get loose curls like this?

I normally always wear my hair straight, but I'm so tired of that.

I like these two hair styles, they're very similar though. I mostly like the hair of the brunette.

So I was wondering how do I get hair like that? Like curlers, hair curler, anything! It'd also be helpful if it were something like a specific type of curler if you could send a picture of it or something and where I might be able to purchase one.

Also, it'd be helpful if I had a step-to-step description of how to have my hair like that.

  1. Okay, so here is how I curl my hair.

    1) The night before, I put some leave-in conditioner in my hair and put them in braids.

    2) In the morning I take my braids out and I am left with wavy hair.

    3) Then, I spritz my hair with a heat-protecting spray, I use one from Tresseme. It's in a black and red bottle. This protects your hair from the damaging effects of using a curling iron, and it also holds curls really well (they turn out sort of stiff, like hair spray though)

    4) I use a large curling iron to curl my hair, holding the curling iron vertical and curling it towards the back and away from my face.

This creates breezy loose curls. I hope I helped. Good luck!

  3. you should def. try to use medium sized rollers and put a little setting lotion your hair. the curls will last longer than a curling iron and they will be loose like in the picture.

    ps. [ i love that show ]

  4. When I curl my hair, it kind of looks like how it does in the pictures.

It can be really cheap and easy.

I bought foam curlers from the dollar store. That's how cheap it was :P

So, you wash your hair and dry your hair (be sure its not wet because when you uncurl your hair in the morning its gonna be straight again)

Ok so tie or clip up half of your hair. Then split the bottom part in half.

Tightly pull one side your hair and curl it; starting from the ends and roll it inwards (like towards your neck) and close the latch that keeps the hair in place. Do the same with the other part also rolling it inwards.

After the bottom is finished being curled (with two curlers), then untie/unclip the rest of the hair. Split it into 3 parts this time. Curl each part inwards towards the top of your head.

In total, there should me five curlers in 5 sections of your hair, 3 on top and 2 under.

Next just go to bed. It may be a little uncomfortable but you could arrange your curlers so that you could sleep (just don't take out any curlers out of your hair).

in the morning, unlatch the curlers and pull it downwards(this part is important) to take out the curlers, So like its like a spiral curl: http://www.artizenusa.com/images/spiral4...

    undo every curler downwards.

spray a little hairspray and then split some of the curls in half so it looks like you curled 10 curls, not just 5.

flip your hair and arrange any curls to make it look how you want it.

hope this works for you :]
