How can I get member to rspv to events on our group calendar?

Thank you for your answers, but how do I get them to rsvp? Do they just reply to the reminder emails or is there a rsvp button they can press?

Y! Group Calendars do not have a built in feature for RSVP. You could have them post messages to the group and advise if they  plan to do whatever you are wanting them to do.  Or better still, have them send you private emails in response.

you need to ask the members to please RSVP, if they do not, then they're automatically not included in what the RSVP is for. send out another calendar reminder, reminding members to RSVP :)
