How can I get money for a down payment?

Roughly $6,000....any ideas??

Start saving every penny you can! Quit buying anything. Live on rice and beans for awhile and get a second job and save ALL of that paycheck. You will be amazed at how the pennies add up-just don't buy anything! You could also sell all the stuff you bought and don't want or need!

In my opinion a loan from a local bank will be perfect.

2) Get a part-time job and save the extra income.

3) Get a better job than you have now, and save the extra income.

4) Sell things you own but don't need, and put the proceeds into savings.

Go to the Casino or get a Juice Loan or find part time work as  a Prostitute , Masseuse (with Happy Ending), Pimp , Drug Dealer or become a politician .

Or get a second job.

Borrow $$$ from someone you know, and pay them back once you can, or start saving up like selling what you don't need, or working.

You don't "get" the money for a down payment, you "save" the money for a down payment.  That means living within your means, not buying things you don't absolutely need and making some sacrifices. For example, if you normally eat out twice a week, stop eating out for a few months and put that money into savings.

6000 isin't that bad, if u have a job and are good with your spending habits, i'd go for a loan. But that would be after asking my family for the help.
