I have been working for myself for a year now and I can't seem to get anymore exposure. I need some ideas on how to get my companies name out there....I am already in the number one spot on yahoo, I pass out business cards and flyers, what esle can I do??

Local radio is a fairly good spot to start. Cheaper of the media outlets and they have people that will help you directly setup a commercial and recommend times blocks to purchase.

Call your local radio stations and ask to talk to their advertising division.

Newspaper works but less likely to be seen. TV slots are expensive plus the visual work and editing required to make.

Also ask current customer's for referrals.
