How can I get my GED!?

I'm a 16 year old dropout. I turn 17 in two months. My parents talked to me about going to nightschool to study and get my GED. Theres this vocational school district that has "GED Test Preperation Sites". My half brother went there when he was like 20 years old, like 20 years ago, (hes 45 now LOL.. my dad is extremely old, i'm only 16!)

So what should I do? I have a number to contact that runs those classes. I heard that you have to take a pre-test to see what you need help in. Should my parents call the department of education? Or should I call the number that I have? I e-mailed a college and they sent me a list of GED test preperation sites in my area. Would they give me the pre-test? Or is it the board of education?

  1. You should contact the local board of education to find the site nearest to you. They will give you the pre-test and recommend the classes you need to take.
