How can I get my Windows Movie Player to show up as an icon on the desktop?

I can't find it in All Programs. It just seems to have completely disappeared. If I play a song off a flash drive it opens it but, I have to way to access it without inserting another device.

  1. Right click on it on the start menu and then put your mouse over send to. Wait for another screen to pop up and then press send to desktop (create shortcut)


  2. Check to see under C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player and copy wmplayer.exe as shortcut to C:\Documents and Settings\alluser\Start Menu\Programs.  

  3. right click on start, explore, go down to program files and look for the windows movie player folder. open it and look for the .exe file for it. right click on it and click create shortcut. when it creates it, drag it to your desktop.
