How can I get my beardie to eat in a separate container?

Vet recommended I started doing it. I've been able to do everything with him but get him to eat his crickets in this white tub. I've tried putting paper towels down in it, but thats it. I just need a recommendation of what has worked for a beardie owner out there. Thanks in advance; looking forward to your answers.

now are you feeding him live crickets. are you putting out of his cage to feed the crickets. I own Three bearded dragons and i give them live cricket once twice a week then daily i give them this food called beardie bites. now i pour the stuff called dragon dust which is more nutrients for the beardies. but they usually eat all in one today sometimes two days.
