How can I get my blogs to be seen on Xanga?

I just started blogging on Xanga a few days ago and I've asked my friends to subscribe or look for me. But when they search by my name, user name, email or blog titles it comes up no records found. Whats the point of having a blog if no one can find it. How can I make my blog come up in the search engine?
