How can I get my brother to leave me alone?

Question

He's a younger brother, but he's stronger than me.

He just spent an hour shining a high powered flashlight into my eyes over and over again. I'm surprised he doesn't have anything better to do.

This morning he picked my door lock and then sprayed my room with body spray. Repeatedly. Its going to smell horrible for days.

How can I get him to leave me alone? Retaliation isn't an option, it will just make it worse.

tell him u love him and tell him sometime i just need to be by your self.but some other time we can play or do something later.so i hope u  get to have time with out your brother

ignore him. if he doesnt get a reaction out of you then hes going to give up and if hes ur little brother yell at him and if he hurts or yells back at you just tell someone and h**l get in trouble

kick him in the balls he may beat you up, but if you keep kicking him in the balls, eventually he won't want to get kicked in the balls anymore.

Do something like pee in the drawer with his clothes in it when he is away..

Or you can do the smart thing... TELL YOUR PARENTS!!

First thing you could do is tell your parents everything he's doing and make them take some action on him.

If that's not an option, lock your door when your not in your room and get a key to carry around with you. If you do the same things to him that he does to you, he'll probably just continue on even stronger.

You know that retaliation isn't an option, so the only other option is to ignore him.  It works.  You have to ignore him, no matter what.  If he is shining a light at you and you leave the room, its not much fun for him.  There are door locks that use keys, not those useless straight key, but actual keys.  Ask your parents if you can get one of those, since he doesn't respect your boundaries.  Know this, he is trying to get your attention because being ignored by you is worse that the negative attention he gets from you.  Put another way, he's rather you get mad at him than you ignore him, he's seeking attention, so maybe spend some time with him and he'll get off your back.  Go to the park with him, skate with him, play board or video games.  The teasing will probably stop.  Try it, the next time he annoys you, ask him if he wants to do something with you, he'll be blindsighted and he might not even know how to react.  I guarantee, there will be a pause, like, what the???  Good luck!

Pretend you are starting to like the attention you get from him. When he walks away from you, call him back and act all weird. If he think you like it, he will stop it!

Oh Boy, you are taking me back to the days when my little brother did the same things. Your brother wants your attention. You're older and he wants to be like you but most of all he wants you to think he's cool. So, do that. Every opportunity you get tell him he did a great job, and you're so impressed by what he's done. This is reverse psychology as you will give him the approval and he will have no need to annoy you to get the approval. Be so nice to him, he looses his mind.
