Not sure what you're asking... Are you trying to get Daddy's money for tuition, trying to get Daddy's friends to let you in, or trying to convince him?

There's no easy way to do this, especially if your dad is really against you going to a dance school. If simply expressing your passion to dance isn't enough to convince him, you may need to go through "extra means" to show him how serious you are to going.

I don't know your dad, but for whatever reason he doesn't want you to go to art school (ex: expensive, he wants you to go to a different kind of school such as med school or business, he thinks dancing is just a phase or hobby, etc) you need to show him how much it means to you! If it's money is the issue, maybe telling him you will offer to pay half of it (with loans, financial aid, etc) or that you will apply for scholarships or sponsors, etc. Maybe telling him you will double major in something else. Whatever you decide, the most important thing is letting him know how much you want to go to dance school.

I think most times parents just want what's best for you. Sometimes they want a different path for you because they feel they know what's best, even if it's not always something you WANT. If you absolutely LOVE dancing and feel like there's no other path you want to take other than dancing, you need to express your passion so that they understand how much it would mean to you to go.

Lol, what i did (and it worked) was,

i wrote a list of all the reasons why i wanted to go to the school, why he wouldn't regret it, and i told him how serious i was.

Lol, and then i told him if he doesn't let me...i'd find a way to pay for it myself legally or illegally...ha ha, that scared him so he put me in the dance company...and he comes to every performance, and is very glad he let me in!

If that doesnt work, try getting your mom to talk to him, or show him what you know so far about dancing!

If you are talking about Interlochen Arts Academy... you must do everything to beg, and plead with him.  That is one Awesome school, you would love it, and be placed around other very talented dancers from around the world!
