How can I get my hair to look wavy and smooth like Vannessa Hugden's?

well this is obviously styled for the event and you wont get it naturaly, but with a curling iron and some serum you should  be able to achieve the look.

To make it smooth and glossy like hers you need to find a good quality conditioner and shampoo. You might have to try a couple before you find one that works perfect on your hair. Then after you wash it apply a defrizz product and/or a smoothing product. Use a big barreled curling iron and work in section, make sure to make slightly smaller curls around the front of your face for a more natural effect.

try rag curls. rip up old sheets or a tshirt or any cotton product and wrap your hair really super tightly in it, (if you don't understand, google or ask it or whatever) sleep in it and in the morning remove the fabric and spray with hair spray. my mom did this to my hair for picture day last year and i thought that the curls would be gone by the end of the day but nope, the hair spray really locked.  or even for a wet, just-out-of-the-shower look, try scrunching it with LA looks curl gel...hope this helps!!
