Question:

How can I get my hair to stay as nice as when the stylist does it?

I'm going to the stylist tomorrow to get a relaxer touch-up, and it will be smooth and perfect. Thing is, once I wash it I'll never be able to get it as perfect again!

When I try to get it that smooth and nice, it ends up being too greasy. When I try to avoid the greasiness, it is too fluffy. I don't want to buy what the stylist is using because it's WAY overpriced.

Oh and one more thing: what is the best way to part your hair if you have a big forehead?

  1. ask ur stylist how she does it and what products she uses.  they will probably be expensive, but if u really want it go for it.  good luck :)

  2. no one can eve get it like the stylist does...  ever never.

bangs are best for a big forehead.

  3. First I share your issue of a big forehead. I have always used a side part. I put it so my hair is mostly on the right side of my head. I would try that. And i personally Garner fructisse hair styling products. Last I like John Freida products.

  4. I like using mousse in my hair to make it stay. Just ask the stylist.

The best way to part your hair is the way your hairline grows.   (Another thing to have the stylist show you.)

  5. Try dry shampoo when you style it next time.

Dry shampoo takes away oils and also works if you dont have enough time to take a full shower.

I believe you can get it at Sallys or make it at home just google recipes to make it. Store bought will work better though.

If you have a big forehead, i would get bangs or side bangs. If you dont wanna do that, part it further over to cover some of your forhead.

  6. The reason why the products in the salon are a higher price point, is cause they are actually good.

If i were you i would shampoo my hair twice each time i wash it , and use a good conditioner.

Before you dry your hair, use a serum in it so it wont go frizzy

When its dry use a shine spray, and maybe a bit of hairspray, not too much though.

Good brushes are good too, and pay attention when she does it to how she does it.

    Good luck

  7. Ask her to teach you how to do it

  8. weeell, buy the fructis style brilliantine shine, and straighten your hair very slowly.

part your hair with a hair pin, first part it in the middle, then the way you want it,,brilliante i say

  9. buy a solia straightener. 88 on Folica. Works for me.

    Big Forehead+Bangs=s**y!!!

  10. Bangs are the best way to hide a big forehead...and it is an age old question how to get your hair look like a salon did it, I don't think any woman has figured it out yet!!!
