I thought about a swiffer I thought about a cordless vaccuum and I am just not sure what to use. I hate sweeping and am looking for a good gadget to keep my hardwood floors clean.

  1. well we usually vaccumn then mop...but a swifter or something like it might be suitable for you, however we have a lot of hardwood flooring and found the swifter too time consuming. We have an indoor dog the sheds a lot and he swifter cloth had to be changed every couple minutes ... if you dont have a furry floor lol then you may be ok

  2. If you try a swiffer you would love it.  And when the cloth gets filled up on one side with hair and stuff, i just pick off the hair and put in trash and turn swiffer around to use the side that doesnt have much on it...then when it is completely full..i will turn the cloth over and use the other side thats clean...it really saves on using alot of cloths...you feel like you've used it to the full.  Some times you just HAVE to use a broom because of dirt on the floor.  I dont know what type of broom you use but I am a house cleaner by profession and I love the Angler Angle Broom.  Check it out. Its usually sold at Walmart.

This broom gets ALL dirt up unlike straw brooms.

  3. swiffer is the easiest but they do have stuff especially to clean hardwood floors with

  4. There's that broom made by Dirt Devil that is also a vacuum cleaner. I think a Swiffer would work too.
