  3. there are a lot of programs to pick from but i only know of two off the top of my head. Ashworth university high school it used to be called James Madison High and then there is Penn foster.

  4. I use Penn Foster High School.

It's very affordable and your books are mailed to you and they are also online.

  5. There are several programs online. Google online homeschool.

k12.com is a free online school. Although it is free, in some states you have to buy the curriculum.

Christian Liberty Academy is a Christian based homeschool academy and is fairly cheap. You can also buy curriculum from Christian Liberty Press without enrolling in the school.

Penn Foster University is another fairly cheap online school. You can make monthly payments to them while attending.

    Hope this helps some.

  6. penn foster if you want o pay for it

  7. I live in kentucky but I got my through www.fcahighschool.org  Its a good school and the work is easy most of the time but its like any other school work.

  8. Yes you can.  There are many methods.  There are cover schools that take your homeschool transcripts and provide a high school diploma.  There are also online high schools.

My son "attends" Keystone High School, www.keystonehighschool.com, online.  He takes classes online, at his own pace, and they are graded by teachers with Keystone.  Keystone is a fully accredited school, so there will be no questions about the diploma.  Since it is at his own pace the courses he has difficulty with he can work through and actually understand the concepts.  The areas that he knows well can be completed more quickly.

Currently he is also taking classes at the local community college and one classes with Keystone.  The college classes are transferable and he will also receive high school credit for them.

For us this has been a good combination of homeschooling and the school experience where others grade his work.
