How can I get my iPod unfrozen!!?

Question

Okay my iPod froze! It's stuck on the same screen and I can't do anything. None of the buttons work. It worked perfectly fine last night, then when I plugged it into the computer to charge, it didn't register. Well, I went to bed without realizing that it didn't register. So, it's now frozen! & draiging battery. Plugging it into the computer does nothing. What can I do?

P.S It's about a month old!

Well a reboot fixes all issues to an degree. But if you can access the menu to reboot then you will have to pop out the battery.

try holding down the menu button and the middle button until it reboots

I guess it is a classic or nano as the touch only has one main button + power key.

hold the menu and centre button till the screen goes black then it will light up and soon reset.
