You have to get a copy of your birth certificate, so that you can get a copy of your social security number and then with those two you can get your ID.

Kinda complicated but thats the way to go.

Start with the DMV online or at your local office.  You should be able to download a lost Driver's license form online and get a new one in the mail.  If you're lucky, the local place can replace it if they have your photo in their computer system.

you will have to contact the appropriate government departments to notify them you have had them stolen, like for your ssn or sin card and health cards, you will probably have to pay to have them replaced. dont forget to cancel any bank cards, credit cards and also call if you have any membership cards in your wallet. like video rental etc... you do not want to be resposible if a theif uses them.

are you talking about a school id or a drivers license? in the event that it is a school id card you can simply go to the front office and pay usually a five dollar fee or if it is your license you need to report it to the dmv(department of motor vehicles) there is not much they can do except give you  a new card for about 25.00
