How can I get my iphone to work?!?!?

I tried upgrading to the 2.0 software. The iphone shows a picture of the usb cord and an arrow pointing to the itunes icon. There is an option to slide for an emergency. I just want the phone to work - and I havent slid the bar for an emergency!

In itunes when I try to finish the installation I get an error message - We could not complete your itunes store request. The network connection timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, then try again

I've restarted the computer and the iphone..help!!

Your going to have to wait a few hours, according to my site (as a att dealer) it notes a teathering issue with the iphone, since the new iphone was released many (and i mean many) have been trying to connect and download the software, with so many on the server it created a backup and pretty much crashed the system from my knowledge. Good luck trying to call apple or att also - look for 30-40 minute hold times (EVEN IF YOUR THE DEALER). have fun - wait a day, or a few hours (3-4 is what we have been informed)

When u connect ur iphone 2 ur computer open itunes. Select ur iphone from left hand side column. Try formatting ur iphone. Should work then.

For your itunes , you must be in the itunes store. That's y it gives those errors.Select ur library or ur iphone and error will be gone! If u wanna use itunes store (u can buy music there), first connect 2 the internet and then restart ITUNES. Should Work Then!!!Hope this helped u!
