How can I get my lovebird to talk?

I've been repeating her name over and over. Are there any other ways of getting her to talk faster?

i heard lovebirds can't talk, but i could be wrong.

Mines too young to bring home from the breeder yet so I've been researching about them... like two sites said they can't learn to talk but I can't seem to find them.

You are the teacher.

If you raise your voice (like you would talk to a baby)  and give eye contact, this will hasten the process.  I teach mine "Hello" first as that is easiest for me to say 50 times a day.

just keep on doing what your doing. if shes more then 5 months old then it will take longer to teach her. mabe she doesnt like the tone your using. try saying her name in different tones, but make sure it still sounds clear. hope i helped! =D
