  1. Supplements and tea are fun to try. I noticed a difference after about five weeks of taking ginko biloba supplements. Drinking coffee and other sources of tea help you remember short things like strings of words. Vitamins B6 and B12 are good for mental focus, but they could make you hyper. Fish oil pills are a good thing to take, but even better is to eat as much fish as you can, especially cold water fish and avoiding the fried stuff. But don't avoid fat! The connections in your brain are made of fat! Also, anything with garlic is worth a try.

Good teas to drink include Ginkgo, Sage, Lemon Balm, Rosemary, Peppermint, Eleuthero root, and Ginseng (but if you are really athletic, avoid Korean Ginseng. It's a seperate label from regular Ginseng). Celestial Seasons teas usually contain at least one of these ingredients. At some stores you can find teas designed to help mental focus. (the teas I listed are mostly included in a type I'm trying called Think-O2.)

Besides teas and supplements, focus in class and take notes. Maybe even read ahead in the text so that you know what's going on before anyone else does (and besides that, it freaks out your teachers ^_^ ) Whatever the teacher is talking about, try to relate it to something else you remember or imagine yourself in the shoes of someone the teacher is describing. Honest to goodness, if you get yourself interested in what the teacher is saying, whatever it takes, you'll learn a whole lot more.

Read books, even if they aren't directly related to what you learn in class. If you read something interesting, you're already improving your memory. I've heard that the more you know, the easier it is to learn, and that's definently true. Good luck! Hope this helps!

  2. Get Extra Sleep!

And Eat Breakfast In The Morning.

    That Should Help You...

  3. Take notes in class.

When you get home/during study hall, look over your notes.

In a new notebook/sheet of looseleaf, rewrite your notes. I used to do this before and it helped me remember some of the things we did in Geometry. =D
