I am so frustrated me and my mum and her boyfriend were supposed to be spending the summer decorating my room and nothing has been done to it, the only thing that has been done to it was far earlier in the year, we have already striped the wall paper in my room but because we haven't even been out and got any new paper my room looks horrible and there is a crack in the wall that is yet to be filled. How can I nicely give my mum a bit of a push to start decorating my room.

(Btw please don't say do it your self because I can't)

  1. b really nice to her buy her stuff etc

n if that doesn't work whine.....................a lot...she will crack like an egg lol

(if she can't b bothered) you could ask her for money and do it with your friends and that way you could do it what exactly you want!

  2. drop Major hints. Look in the paper for sale items on what you want to do, cut them out and tape them all over the place so she will see them. Keep doing that and maybe she will finially get started on it.

  3. when re-decorating home, bedroom or any other room, always try to choose colors according to feng shui. in this case you will activate powers of 5 elements (water, earth, metal, wood and fire) and support all your lucky "areas" - this will attract love, romance, wealth, money, prosperity, luck etc etc

    good luck!

  4. I'm a mum and if my daughter started to decorate her bedroom on her own, I would be in there like a shot to make sure she didn't mess it up!  Maybe during the summer holidays, your mum could be finding money a bit tighter with having to entertain you a bit more while you're off school, so she may be finding it hard to afford the materials you need.  Ask her and if that's the case, maybe you could arrange to buy the stuff a bit at a time when you're back at school and then plan to spend half-term decorating your room.

  5. get them in room together and ask nicely if you all can start doing your room if your still at school say you would like it done by then but be nice tell them how you feel

  6. i would say mum u said u would help me with my room can u start to help me now it looks terrible and i want it done before school starts

    hope that will help

  7. compromise with her - say 'if you help me get the paper ill help more with the chores to give you the time to help me' or hint at how messy it looks.
