The radio is a pioneer. They have a green wire running to the parking brake. I would like to know where I could run that wire to allow me to play DVD's while driving. I want to know a way to bypass the prohibition.

  1. older stereos require just buying a cheap switch and wire it into a cable to the stereo.

some pioneer stereos require to just flip a wire in the back to another spot, but that depends on the exact model of the headunit.

but all this is illegal in most states due to people not keeping their eyes on the road. ive read of people getting tickets for having disabled this security feature on their stereos. some insurance companys will not cover you if there's an accident you are involved in and you by-passed the safety feature. so before you do it, be sure to read your local laws and check with your insurance agent before doing it. you will not be happy finding things out the hard way.

  2. remove that grn wire and connect it to a fused 10amp hot lead which goes on and off with the key.. look for a empty contact point in your fuse panel  use grn wire so not to confuse the orig wiring   Good Luck
