How can I get my nose to appear smaller from a side view?

My nose is fine from the front, but from the side it's huge. And I'm so d**n self conscious about it! I have a hill looking nose..like a bump. And I hear there are some great makeup tips to make a nose look smaller. If so please share them with me! My mom and dad have agreed for me to get a nose job but I'm still thinking and I cant get it done till I'm 18. So for now I'm gonna stick with makeup.

And do you think if i curled my hair everyday, with a curling iron, it'd be less noticeable? Cause I do get looks when i curl my hair, and i sometimes get compliments.

Your nose is fine and you know it.

Stop asking for backhanded compliments. And i think you're lying. Any respectable parent wouldn't let their child get a nose job. thats just wrong.

I have that same exact type of nose, and it gets really aggravating! Because your face is more oval, it really helps to add volume to your hair. It makes your face appear shorter, thus the nose will also have the illusion of being smaller. If you don't want to curl it everyday, you could also use volumizing spray at the roots of your hair. As for makeup tricks, just keep your skin acne-free and make sure your nose doesn't shine when it gets oily. I use powder foundation on my nose and it helps for a short while.

Try going to your hairdresser. They can help you get a haircut that conceals your "big" nose or makes it appear smaller. My mom has a HUGE nose, but with her haircut you can barely notice it!

ive heard by putting a darker shade (bronzer or something) on the top of the nose can make it look smaller, i dont know if it works though but you could try.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

That means, no matter how you feel about yourself it's everyone else's opinion of you that really determines how beautiful you are.

Trust me, you are beautiful.  (I'm not hitting on you, I'm just letting you know.)

What you need to focus on isn't your nose but how you feel about yourself and your looks.  Beauty comes with confidence in who you are and being comfortable with yourself just as you are.  If you believe you are beautiful, you will be beautiful.  If you believe your nose is fine just the way it is, everyone else will see the beauty in you.

With that said... Unfortunately, there isn't any way to change your nose without surgery or make it look smaller.  Curling your hair may take attention away from your nose, as you mentioned.  You might also try ratting it towards the roots or using a volumizer to make it a bit fuller.  Still, it's not going to actually change your nose.

your so pretty ! idk what ur nose looks like from the side, but judging by the front it cnt be that bad ! i dnt think ur nose is the prob, i think its ur self confidence ! bc when you curl your hair your probly more confident, and then people notice - ur so pretty you shouldnt focus on ur nose
