How can I get my parakeet to eat new foods?

My parakeet will only eat seeds, so how can I get it too eat fruits and veggies and stuff?

My budgie is really stubborn when it comes to trying new foods, a way i got her to start eating fruits is by eating it in front of her, and showing her that its okay to eat. My budgie used to love eating potatoe chips, which is  obviously bad for her, so I tricked her into eating a piece of an orange by calling it chips.
