as of right now, i have run the pump for almost two weeks, and I have vacuumed the bottom of the pool four seperate times, and that has helped. I can now see the bottom, but I can't seem to get rid of the "green tint" of the water. of course, I have "shocked" it with the proper chemicals, so what else can I do, other than let it run? clarifier? algae control? thanks in advance for the info.

  1. Make sure you put some algecide in the water, that will also help to kill the algae. If the water is still green , the algae may still be alive and multiplying. Try to get the chlorine up to 10ppm - really shock it. Clean your filter every other day and run your pump for at least 12 hrs each day until clear. Also add some Fiber Clear or similar material to your filter (it doesn't matter which type of filter you have.) Fiber Clear is composed of bleached wood pulp fibers. It actually clogs the larger pores in your pool filter and helps it to traps the small bits of algae and other material. Each time you clean your filter, make sure to add some Fiber Clear

  2. scrub the entire pool, and use clorine

  3. well we took a sample to pool wizard n they can tell you whats wrong and what you need for your pool it should be crystal clear by the next day!!!

  4. sounds like  a little clarifier and chlorine should help and if you want try algea control

  5. take a sample of the water to a pool shop.search the internet for a shop close to you. they should probably get you the right
