Over the last couple of days my rabbit is becoming more and more difficult, she won't let me take her out of her hutch to clean it or to put her in her run. i have tried using a pet carrier and coaxing her out with food as when i try to pick her up she bites, growls and scratches but this no longer works. I don't know what else i can do to get her out. any suggestions are welcome. thanks

  1. send elmer fudd in.

  2. pick up the hutch and turn it upside down, gravity will take of the rest

  3. She might be in heat, put her food outside and this might coax her to do so.

  4. i had a doe like that, she got very bad that she wouldnt even let me take her food bowl out...

turns out she was reaching her sexual maturity and wanted mating lol....

she was much better once i got her a male friend :) xx

  5. give it a carrot

  6. First of all if she is groaning at you when you go to pick her up, she could be hurt. if the i hopping about alot or away from you when you go too pik her up then you need to get her out and about. pick her up between  the legs and keep your hands away from her mouth. stroke her and make her feel at ease, give her a cuddle if need be.

She could also be mating season if she feels like it. If you dont want bunnies and plenty of then don't get a buck. Her maturity should pass in a couple of weeks. need any more email me.
