okay I was fired from my job cause I was accused of abusing a resident at the nursing home where I worked at which is not true at all. I think it was a set up. Anyways, I have witnesses saying that I didn;t do anything to that patient. somehow they fired me still cause those patients have evry right against you whatever they say about you even if it's not the truth they believe it. So I was told that I was gonna be reported to the dept. of public health and that would stay on my record I wanna become a nurse soon and I know that record is gonna ruin my chances of being an RN. Is there a way that I can have my name cleared out from the state? if I contact an attorney or something. I don't have any money to pay for a lawyer and I know that they are expensive does anyone have any advice for me?

  1. Unless you worked for the dept. of health they can't report you.  They can, if charges were filed, report you but it doesn't sound like that was the case.  I would contact an atty. through your local legal aid department.  They work with people who can't afford attys.
