Okay so I start school on the 25th and over the summer I've adapted to this wacky sleeping schdule I don't know how I did it but I did...okay so when school started I would go to sleep around eleven and wake up at six but this summer I go to sleep around 10am or 11am and wake up between the hours of 2-4pm this is so unhealthy I know and I was wondering how I could change my hours back to normal any help would be extremely apperitiated

  1. what you should do is keep yourself busy during the day , so that you get tired enough to go to sleep at  11 and wake up earlier.

  2. The only way really is to force it upon you.  Make sure you go to bed at the designated time and close your eyes, turns off lights and music.  Than have an alarm clock wake you up at the time you want.  Eventually it becomes clockwork.

  3. I would start out by exercising during the afternoon. This will help you in a lot of ways, including increasing your endorphins and tiring you out. Don't exercise too late in the day or you'll just become more awake!

How is the lighting in your bedroom? You'll want sunlight during the day if at all possible. If you don't have a window facing the sun, a sunlight-simulating lamp might be a good idea. This will help you reset your internal clock.

I know it goes without saying, but limit your caffeine - even during the afternoon, it can affect you for many hours.

Try to get into a routine - consistency is the key! Good luck getting ready for school!
