Question:

How can I get my sleeping on track before school starts?

As you can tell, my time it's about 3 :40 AM

And I sleep until 2-3 PM everyday

School starts on tuesday, how can I get myself to fall asleep earlier without taking sleeping pills

DO NOT TELL ME TO DRINK WARM MILK

THAT DOESN'T WORK

  1. Go on watching TV programs. Especially Telugu Channels


  2. Just force yourself to stay awake until a time you find suitable to go to sleep at.  

  3. Try drinking coffee or a hot drink

    when i can't sleep i usually listen to my ipod constantly or read a book until your eyes are to tired hope this works

Start going to bed at a reasonable time.Say 10:00pm.That way you will get 8 hours sleep per night which is recommended.You may find the first few times you will find it hard to get to sleep but then you will get used to it and your sleeping patterns will return back to normal.Try listening to relaxing music before you go to sleep which helps to relax and makes it easier to fall asleep.

  5. you can gradually start going bed earlier and earlier every night, then the in the morning set your alarm clock for early this will then help you too get up earlier and have a good day at school.

  6. haha this is what I do

    if I start staying up really late and then sleeping in til 2 or 3 I pull an all nighter, then go to bed somewhere between 6-9. I get up really early the next morning and I'll be tired and go to bed the next night then be up early the next morning and it gets my schedule back to normal.

  7. haha, i have the same problem. ish. you should try going to sleep 1 hour earlier each night, and maybe set an alarm to wake you up a little earlier.

  8. You should try and tire yourself out during the day, get active, maybe do some gardening, go out with your friends. Then go to bed say around 9 ish (it's up to you) then watch a movie/tv or read a book before you go to sleep.  I know that always helps me

  9. what i try and do is stay awake all night and day so wen night comes the next day your tired and ready for bed : )

  11. My best suggestion, or rather what I do when I am in a similar situation, is set an alarm allow yourself 6 hours (7 max) and wake up an hour earlier. The next night you will naturally get tired sooner, again cut sleep down until you get close to your target sleeping pattern.

    Note: I do not suggest cutting your sleep down like this for more than a few nights in a row. Try for eight, and your day will be fine.

  12. Stay up through out one night and force yourself to stay up through the day till about 9pm, and thats it.

  13. Turn off your compter and just get to bed early....simple....
