My son is 26mths and we are starting to potty train him. But he will pee on the potty when we assist him to do so. He doesn't tell us he has to go potty so every so often we take him to the potty to see if he has to pee. BUT HERES WHERE IT GETS FUN! He loves to go into his room and get naked and pee on things!!!! At night he gets naked and pee's all over his crib and bed and then cries till we come change the sheets and get him dressed and then does it all over again. We tell him it's wrong but he doesn't listen...I really don't know what to do! We have even tried keeping just undies on him and still those come off and pee is everywhere. He will even come out to the living room naked and start peeing and when I run after him to take him to the potty he just runs around laughing and stopping to pee here and there! I really need help!

  1. lol little boys are so gross, hahahahah

Well, I'd probably put him in clothing & a diaper that he can't get out of. Get like a big onesie type thing that would be too difficult for him to get out of.

You guys need to be really stern. It's probably really hard to. You can't be having baby pee all over your house.

It also sounds like he's having too good a time to understand the intricacies of potty training right now -- maybe you should wait and get him diaper trained again. lol

  2. Try punishment and reward.   Time out for peeing on things that are not the potty and a toy of his choice for peeing only in the potty.

  3. It may be a “boy thing”--even some adult men like to pee on things such as trees or rocks, something like marking their territory. I think punishment/reward is the way to go with this. You have to make it not fun for him.

  4. my nephew who has had cancer two times and is 7 years of age does the same. they are not potty training him but he was always wetting the bed and not knowing when to go. My sister took him to the Dr. and he a urinary tract infection. maybe he might have one if he keeps wetting everywhere
