  3. I have a B&B  and have a lot of problems with women messing up my towels.  When I can't bleach, I run a tub of hot water and Oxyclean, and soak for about a day.  Then drain it and wash with more Oxyclean and soap.  Seems to work well for me. If the fabric is delicate, let the hot water cool before adding clothes.  If it is a blood based stain, soak the stain with peroxide first, several times.  If it is blood, it will bubble up and make foam.  This is a good sign, as it is lifting the iron out of the cloth.  Blot this away with a paper towel each time.  Soak as above, and things should be good as new.

  4. soak them in oxiclean.

I soaked my white t-shirts from last year and even the yellow under the arms came out.

  5. ~~I wash mine in with a double rinse. Recently I started adding white vinegar to the bleach dispenser as I heard that helps to. I think it gets out the residue soap that ends up on them. My towels are softer, whiter and more absorbent so it's helping. The best part is the double rinsing, it really made the biggest difference.~~

  6. Try borax or washing soda which you can get in the laundry aisle. The best natural bleach is the sun so if you can hang your clothes outside they will be whiter and brighter (I know it sounds like a commercial but it is true)

  7. 1.  there is non-chlorine bleach.

    2.  put up a clothes line, and hang them in the sun.  * * *
