How can I get on the admin. windows profile?

I put a password on my admin. user thing and I forgot the password so now I have to use the guest user thing and cant download anything and I wanna download something but can't what do I do??

Boot into Safe Mode by hitting the F8 key repeatedly when the computer turns on. From there hit Reset Password.

If it's windows xp, boot into safe mode like the guy above said, and then there should be a main administrator account, log into that, go to control panel, user account, and delete the password to your account. The restart and go to your account.
