Use a mold treatment when you find the source.

Air out the room well.

Burn aromatherapy oils/scented candles.

Let me ask you? What climate are you in? If you are in the western united states then it is odd to have any mold as modl grows from humidity. If you are in a state like Florida it is easy to answer. If you do not have a dehumidifier or central air conditioning you will build up mold quickly. I would try cleaning with bleach the walls and baseboards and then see if it remains. I am confused if you have central air conditioning or not. The question is a bit confusing to me

Really needs lots of fresh air to start with. Open windows and let it air. An air purifier will help. Also the Lysol automatic air fresheners are great. And I would spray the floor, etc. with Lysol. Hope this helps.

First you need to find the source of the mold smell.  Air out bedroom and do a thorough cleaning.  An air purifier will help and a dehumidifier will also help to maintain the mold.
