How can I get out an ink stain?

I'm in college so I don't have access to every single stain remover but I just got an ink stain from a pen on my bedspread. I tried water and Tide To Go, but they don't do anything. I'm freaking out because I cannot!!!! have stains on my things.

LOL, I have used  shout with resolve in it..it is new and it really works for ink stains, I'm in college too and I get ink stains all the time as well as at my job.

I don't know if it still works, but aerosol hair spray aways used to work. Be Liberal and then wash it while it is still wet.

As mentioned by others, aerosol hairspray works, because it contains alcohol. Alcohol dissolves ink, so you can use Isoprpoyl (rubbing) alcohol. Spray or dab on the solution of your choice. Let it sit for about 10 minutes and wash as usual. If you aren't able to wash the comforter at this time, after treating the stain, rinse the area with water.

depending on the kind of ink, just washing it in hot water can be enough. If not, pre-treat with spray and wash.

If it's just regular pen ink, it should be no problem, if it's marker ink you will have to scrub.
