How can I get over this with my guy teachers??

I know this sounds weird but I have a hard time looking at my guy teachers when they are teaching. I also am actually scared to talk to my guy teachers like if I need get something from them I am scared to talk to them. I am not like this with my girl teachers. Nothing has happened in my life that should make me like this. I mean I have a great dad and no guys have been negative to me. How can I get over this?? I am in 11th grade Thanks!!

Sounds like you have an issue with males in authority. Just remember they are people like you and there is nothing to be shy or scared about.

But, just dont worry about them being mean to you or anything. Talk to them straight up (well not rudely) like you do to your friends. I sometimes imagine my teachers to be my mother. i'm very casual with her, but I make sure not to go over the line of respect (well i try to...) so if you think of them as someone you can be casual with or your mother, then maybe it may help with your nervousness with the male teachers.
