How can I get peace after a stressful day?

Today my car was banged from behind. There was a car behind me and that car was banged from behind,which in turn banged in my car's rear. My bumper is broken a bit,but it is not repairable. Me and then other guy who's car was banged spoke to the driver of the car which started all this. That driver's owner came and refused to pay us both. Then on much persisting he gave the driver of the car which was actually banged. I had to wait 2 1/2hrs. This stressed me throughout the day.HELP

  1. To continue in heogog's idea, sports are usually great stress relievers. So, any type of sport is usually good to get rid of stress. Especially team sports, they can really help a lot (football, basketball etc.). It's amazing how many problems a simple sport can solve.

    Other than that, you can try drugs, from weed to heroin.


  2. Start taking yoga or Tai Chi classes, or even martial arts- they force you to put everything else aside, and to concentrate on the now.  That lifts you out of the day.

    To start meditation, do some breathing exercises.  Inhale for a count of four.  Exhale for a count of 8- repeat.  If a thought comes into your head, simply let it go and concentrate on your breathing.  Make sure that you are in a comfortable position to do this.  Turn the lights off, or down low.  As you get better at it, increase the concentration- inhale for four, hold for four, exhale for 8.
