Question:

How can I get pretty ballerina feet?

Does anyone know good stretches for my feet. I've dance forever. I know the feet under the couch trick, Do yall know of anything else?

  1. umm have someone press down on your feet....as if you were putting them "under the couch". You can have as much pressure or as little as you want that way. It will help make your feet very flexible.


  2. Point your toes on one foot as hard as you can (you should really feel it in the back of your calf muscle) and hold it for about 10 seconds. Then repeat on the other foot.

    If you do this in the swimming pool or the bathtub, it makes it easier to stretch.

    some people are born with pretty arches.

    but those who are not,  you can ask a friend to push gently down on your feet making sure its not sickiling. you could also try getting on both knees and sitting on your feet. best of luck! (:

  4. I have been dancing for 13 1/2 years and I had the same problem. What I did was I stood at second postion and went up on relev and on into a grand pelea. After that, just flex and pointe your feet a couple of times and repeat.....

  5. point your toes up and down count them do it 60 times in a row then stand on your toes andd repeat

  6. I danced for eleven years but was put on point waaay too early which gave me some gnarly toes.  I don't believe there's such a thing as "pretty" ballerina feet unless you're referring to the beauty of an arch.
