open the bonnet with the key while locked should go off, if you mean for insurance it should be on their data base unless private fit then it wont count for most insurance purposes

If it is an aftermarket alarm system then just use your receipt as proof and if it is a factory alarm the VIN will be all you need if this is for your insurance..
