How can I get really good at guitar before school starts???

The only way to get great at ANYTHING is to just practice, practice, practice.

If you wanna play "crazy train" like Randy Rhoads... PRACTICE!!!!

If you wanna play "stairway..." like Jimmy Page... PRACTICE!!!!

If you wanna play "Eruption" like Eddie Van Halen... PRACTICE!!!!

oh but do these too...

1) Get a Guitar... it doesn't have to be expensive... don't waste your money (yet, lol)

2) Take Lessons... could be from a friend, close relative, or a teacher.... but whoever it is... make sure they know what they're teaching

3) Get Tabs for songs that you listen to... start off easy... like playing "smoke on the water" or "Iron Man," and then you can work your way up...

4) Don't quit either....

Well it won't get good by itself. Get a guitar, get a private teacher, get lessons maybe 3-5 days a week, and practice

u cld take guitar lesons online or at some place around you. OR u cld start by looking up vieos on utube on how to play easy songs i recomend trying smoke on the water by deep purple that preety easy....oh and once u figure out the different strings and such you cld look up guitar tabs which show how and where to play notes in a song
