  1. a LOT of practice, get a sketchbook and draw everything you see,

and why not join a drawing class? it will give you some great experience and the chance to see how others work.

The best tips I've ever had has been from looking at other peoples sketchbooks in my art class and seeing the little things they do to make drawings look great

  2. Try one of the following or all of them!

    -Hire a private teacher.

-Ask a friend who is really good to help you.

-Go to youtube. Lots of artists are showing free lessons there.

-Buy some e-books on amazon or ebay.

    -Go to websites like:

    http://www.how-to-draw-funny-cartoons.co...

    http://www.drawingnow.com

    Good luck!

  3. Try getting your own personal sketchbook where you can draw anything inside of it and some nice sketching pencils. Draw humans, flowers, animals, whatever comes to mind. When you're done, write the date.

I can't really say much, but try and keep practicing, and you'll notice your drawing getting better and better! If you don't know already, research information about shading, and when you draw humans, try looking information on proportions.

Eventually, you'll notice your skill improving by looking at past sketches.

    Hope this helps!

  4. Exactly like the others said above, But what i found/ find as a necessity when sketching and doing all drawings, is to not think to hard, let your mind free, just kind of sit there, and chill, and sketch what comes to your mind, building off of each line as you go, without to much thought into it... From my experience, thats when I do my best pieces, and when I don't do that, I cant draw at all. I think what the others said, as well as this is the key..

  5. go to

  6. Do lots of them. The more you do the better you'll become.

Something which helped me enormously was to look at the negative spaces rather than the subject when drawing. A negative space is the area around your subject.

By drawing in this way it will help you to really see.

If you copy from a photograph place your photograph upside down and draw what you see. All good things to practice over and over again.
