How can I get rid of a cigarette smell coming from my neighbor's apartment?

Flob:  You will not be able to get rid of cigarette smell coming from your neighbors apartment, your only option is to use air freshener.  I would think of moving to smoke free apartment.

Most air freshener is only a chemical cover up in addition to the dangerous chemical composition of second hand smoke.  

You might tell your landlord you can not tolerate it and must move to an apartment not affected by smoke.
