HELP!!! It's a really big groundhog, and we've always had groundhog issues, as we live on 4 achres of land. This one is by far the worst. It is a really large groundhog, and there are 2 or more!!! PLEASE HELP WITH ANY IDEAS!!! IT EATS ALL OF OUR PLANTS!!! My dad can use chemicals and has like every tool on the planet, too so that is not an issue.

  2. Shoot it with a .22 - works everytime.

  3. you have 4 acres ...shoot them ...i live in town and shoot them with sub-sonic .22 shells...very quiet rounds...

  4. no dont use a a.22!!!!!!!!

    DONTTTTTTTTTT

  5. Pour gasoline down the burrow and then run a trail of gas about 7-8 feet from the hole. Light it and stand back. Make sure your not near any other holes when you do. The groundhogs generally get the message and move away.

  6. Check with your local animal control/dog pound and see if they will loan out a Have-A-Heart trap.  if they don't, you can buy them at places like Southern States and Tractor Supply Company.Trap the little bugger and replocate him.  You'll want to find his burrow and fill it in, too.  Otherwise the other groundhogs will just move in.

Groundhogs are territorial which is why you want to move him from the area.  If you don't move him away a bit he will just return.
