How can I get rid of an oil and paint smell?

I work in a building that used to be a welders/mechanic type shop and now is jewellery store. My allergies are bothering me because of the oil and varsol smell that is in the cement and we have painted the shelves that we brought in. We are trying ways to reduce the smell of the oil and paint. Any suggestions?

Well if there is nothing on the cement a far a carpet you can clean the floor as best you can and then paint it with cement paint the vent the room the best you can

Put vinegar in a container and leave it in the room, or u can also use charcoal to absorb the smell just like what they use inside their fridge.
