My opinion: Be careful on applying for jobs on the Internet, as it can be a scam just to get personal information; Can't help with the bogus IDs on dating sites, as I don't visit them; Just be honest and be yourself and people will respond.  As for bad luck, think positive. When you wake up in the morning, tell yourself that it will be a good day, even if inconviences happen.
