How can I get rid of bats in my attic? Professionals want so much money?

I am worried about health issues and I am not sure who to contact or what complications will come from it but I am stuck.

First of all, you should check your local ordinances as it is illegal to disturb roosts, trap and/or kill bats in many areas.

Toss several hands full of mothballs into attic in the early evening.l Then after sever days, seal the openings that they are using to get into the house.......make sure they are all gone first!

Then put up a couple of bat houses outside.

But honestly, why bother? There are not many real health issues with bats and if you have bats, you will not have bugs!
