Question:

How can I get rid of chubby thighs?

The one part of my body that I HATE everything els is fine except my thighs are so chubby!

Anyway to reduce this??

Try exercising like walking several times a week or if you can use a treadmill use it for 30 minutes at least 3 times a week if not more if you can fit the exercise in.  I've included some links with exercise suggestions you might find useful.  I even found a video for you on youtube to watch with exercises that may help.

  7. Go on a brisk jog for 20 minutes every morning. Stay away from sweets and other fatty foods. Don't buy into those infomercials trying to sell you the miracle products claiming to burn fat.

    Jogging is the best exercise in the world.

    Edit: Eating less will actually make you gain weight. Your body will go into starvation mode and store everything you eat into body fat. Instead, eat several small meals a day. That will boost your metabolism.

  9. Specific Exercises for Slimmer Thighs

    To exercise the back of your thighs

        *

          Stand with feet apart.

        *

          Bend forward from the waist.

        *

          Reach to your right with both hands and clasp your ankle with both hands.

        *

          Push your upper body downwards towards the floor.

        *

          Count to 20.

        *

          Return to start position and repeat exercise on the left-hand side.

    To Exercise the Front of your Thighs

        *

          Kneel upright on the floor, with knees together.

        *

          Lean backwards and clasp your right ankle with your left hand.

        *

          Do not sit on your ankles - that's cheating!

        *

          Hold this position for a count of 20.

        *

          Return to start position and repeat exercise on the left-hand side.

    To Exercise the Inside of your Thighs

        *

          Sit down on the floor in front of an ordinary straight back chair.

        *

          Stretch your legs straight out in front of you, with your feet on either side of the chair.

        *

          Keeping your back straight and place your palms on the floor on either side of you.

        *

          Clasp the legs of the chair with the soles of your feet as though trying to push both chair legs together.

        *

          Press hard and hold for a count of 50.

    To Exercise Thighs & Butt

        *

          Stand with feet apart, toes pointed outwards, and hands on the outside of your thighs.

        *

          Keeping your back straight, at right-angles to the floor, bend knees and allow your hands to slide down your thighs until they reach your knees. (Keep back straight!)

        *

          Hold your knees for a count of 5, then slowly return to start position.

        *

          Repeat 10-20 times.

    -----------------------------------

        *

          Stand with feet slightly apart.

        *

          Stretch your arms straight out ahead of you.

        *

          Slowly bend your knees, until your thighs are roughly parallel with the floor.

        *

          Slowly raise yourself back to the starting position

        *

          The slower you do this, the better.

        *

          Start with 10 real slow ones.

        *

          But please don't strain yourself. Go at your own pace.

  15. Alas some of us are meant to be a bit curvy in that area.

    It's taken me a few years to gain appreciation for my not-so-skinny thighs.

    Good exercise tips - cycling is a good exercise. It's low impact,easy on your joints, and if done in a steady spin (and not in a too-high gear) is great cardio. A spin class is also  a good option - after a hard class the thighs do feel the burn.

    Of course, if you do like jogging, I've heard that can tone muscle & burn some calories too.

    A bit of power-walking can be beneficial too.

    Squats are good leg exercises & can be done anywhere. There are some gym machines which also focus the thigh area too, if your feel inclined that way.

    And there's always the diet issue. Not that you want to spend the rest of life on a "diet" of course. Some moderation can be good though. Plenty of fresh food & veges, water, not too much fatty or salty food & the occassional treat (because life is meant to be fun!)

    But perhraps your thighs might be naturally curvy & there is nothing wrong with that.

    It all depends on how you dress them to their best advantage.  

    I'm loving a-line skirts (which fall a bit below the knee). Very feminine & they skim over your thigh's.

    And to take the focus of your lower half, try focusing on your top half. A nice longer lined fitted top with a v-neck/scoop neck works well for me. Or maybe you have toned arms & could  try to show them off.

    Clothes can make a  big difference!

  16. you cant really tell your body " okay this is where i want you to lose weight!"  cardio.. i like the elliptical machine at the gym.. its good for the legs. pick a setting that works your entire leg or your upper thigh and hip area.. and running. not sprints .. sprints will make them bigger.. good luck.
